The best ideas are often not the most brilliant, nor do they need to be the most profound. The very best ideas are the ones that we share and are important to the people who have them. These ideas are the best ones, and the ones that often get implemented.
Boating is our life, and it is obvious from the passion expressed from the boaters here at Len's Cove, that it is central to yours as well. Whether you stay with us here on the Big Rideau Lake, or come in for services, this place should feel like home, and we want you to be proud of it like we are.
At the Fall Chili Haul-Out Lunch that we had at the marina in early November, we put out "Suggestions for 2014" cards on the tables. The responses were a pleasant surprise. What I mean by that is not the ideas themselves were pleasant (although there are some really good ones that were shared), rather that the volume and completeness of responses. You (who were there) really gave some thought to these. We really appreciate that!
Here is the list of suggestions below. These are raw with no modifications. Nothing was added or omitted. Read through them; what do you think? Are there and you like or dislike? Any other to add?

- New patio furniture for around the pool.
- Numbered access to docks, locked gates
- Washroom codes should be changed monthly, no access given to galley customers.
- Washer dryer available at east dock.
- Pump out and gas accessible - at the end of a dock (10 people suggested this!!)
- Next time you buy showers buy the ones that the doors slide, might cost more but will save on flooring in the long run. Water from doors won't drip onto flooring and rot floor like it is doing in the East washroom.
- For the lounge we would love a kitchen w/ fridge/stove/tv :)
- Dedicated boat trailer parking, i.e. Trailers from cabin occupants using main parking areas.
- A middle option for runabouts, between full service or the haul-out option would be nice (...or are we missing something?!)
- Small boat (canoe/kayak/rowboat) on-shore storage / dolly option.
- Gas discounts for marina boaters
- New Washrooms
- Disabled Parking.
- Go back to the 5% off discount for purchases services etc.
- Timmy needs her own X-Star or (hurricane)
- Wheelchair access everywhere
- Better recycling spot
- A pop-machine
- Bicycles to borrow
- No more air-horn
- Firewood for sale
- Fix steel wall at Galley
- Another fresh water tap
- Better access for diesel fuel at the East Dock
- Pump out at the East Dock
